Hi.
Iptv-EPG no longer works as new format existed. I think the XMLTV importer plugin has a bug.

With the old gz format it worked well.

DM900UHD

This line has always worked

#SERVICE 4097:0:1:25c:521:d:0:0:0:0:http%3a//fr.cdn.xxxxxxxxxxxx/204/index.m3u8:ПЕРВЫЙ HD
#DESCRIPTION ПЕРВЫЙ HD

Works fine on my own receiver with xz files.

Did you updated the EPGimport?

Dream900UHD has no OpenPLi image. Either update the image from your image provider, or ask your imageprovider to update EPGimport.

Thank you. I see the problem with lamedb. Must somehow add non-existing satellites and adjust referencies.

The latest (!) DreamOS Version of this plugin is based on the latest Version of the Plugin in the OpenATV git 1.0-r36 and supports nicely the xz files and as you found out if you have a proper SAT or Cable channel in your lamedb matching the service reference of an IPTV channel it will also load and show the EPG.

Hi,

I try to get the EPG for a cable channel (Discovery Science FR) on my Vu Duo 2 with OpenPli 6.0

I follow the instruction and made my xml files into /etc/epgimport.

In my bouquets i've this

#SERVICE 4097:0:1:18A2:8FC:1:FFFF023A:0:0:0:http%3a//mysite.com%channel.ts:Discovery Science HD
#DESCRIPTION Discovery Science HD

I have set into my own test.channel.xml (located in \etc\epgimport\ ) :

<channels>

4097:0:1:18A2:8FC:1:FFFF023A:0:0:0:http%3a//mysite.com%channel.ts

</channels>

this id (1:0:1:18A2:8FC:1:FFFF023A:0:0:0:) was found into http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I've created a test.sources.xml file with this :

<sourcecat sourcecatname="(New) Rytec General XMLTV (xz version)">

Filtered Rytec IPTV XMLTV (xz)

But i cannot have any EPG for this channel. Can someone help me ?

Thank's

1. Start E-Channelizer
2. Select: Download - KingofSat
3. Select the satellite(s) which you want to import
4. Perform the import (Press OK)

You can also proceed using E-Channelizer with less steps:

Method 1

 1. Download the satellites from KOS (including bouquets).
 2. Save the file to your PC.
 3. Read settings from your box.
 4. Go to Favorites and select Import Bouquets > from File.
 5. Select the saved KOS file and Import bouquets.
 6. Write the settings back to your box.

Method 2

 1. Download the satellites from KOS.
 2. Select all services, right-click and select Copy.
 3. Open another instance of E-Channelizer.
 4. Read settings from your box.
 5. Right-click services and select Paste.
 6. Write the settings back to your box.

hello where i can download satellites what kos means ythanks

Only problem, KOS (King of Sat) has changed its format and the import function in E-Channelizer does not work at the moment. It needs updating.

Hi,
May I ask you what's wrong in my files :

1st file :

name : "dtt.channels.xml.xz"

<channels>

1:0:1:1:37:218C:EEEE0000:0:0:0:http%3a//example.com

1:0:1:1:37:217C:EEEE0000:0:0:0:http%3a//example.com

</channels>

2nd file :

name : "dtt.sources.xml"

<sources>
<sourcecat sourcecatname="(New) Rytec Italia XMLTV (xz version)">

mon dTT

http://www.vuplus-co...T_Basic.xz</url

Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards.

First of all, you should give this a unique name:

<sourcecat sourcecatname="(New) Rytec Italia XMLTV (xz version)">

Now it is a duplicate of the rytec source, and the importer will do both.

Name it something like this (but your are free to use something else):

<sourcecat sourcecatname="DTT Italia">

The file "dtt.sources.xml"

should have a closing tag: </sources>

At the moment the XML structure is not closed.

File name : "dtt.channels.xml.xz"

Is this really xz zipped?

If not (when it is just a text file - which is perfectly acceptable)

Name it : "dtt.channels.xml"

Of course change this also in the sources file.

(when the file has the extension .xz the program checks first if it is a genuine xz compressed file. If not it will discard the file)

xz was a mistake.
I corrected the files accordingly but still struggling to have it work.
Can you have a look at the attached files and tell me what's wrong ?

I see "dtt Italia" in the screen but cannot click it.
thanks in advance.

I cannot see anything wrong at the moment (will try it on a receiver later today)

But the "dtt Italia" you see is the category. Select it and Press OK. Now the tree opens to give you the ac tual source "dTT"

Pres again OK to select it.

Indeed, that's the problem :

I see "dtt Italia", but when I click "+" the "+" becomes "-" but doesn't open the tree.

Very Strange...let me know if you find Something.

Found the problem :

When I fill in the XML Source file with .gz sources it works.

When I fill in the XML Source file with .xz sources it doesn't work.

Problem fixed....

But what's the root cause for this ???

Other point : I suggest you move the channel "Top Calcio 24" (Italia) from "Sport/Movies" to "Basis". No subscription needed for that one.

thanks for your feedback.

Domi.
