Should have asked to look into the log file:

[EPGImport] failed to open /etc/epgimport/dtt.sources.xml Error: not well-formed (invalid token): line 12, column 4
sourcesDone(): False None

Willy

Which means that there was an error in my file ???

I know that in the epgimport plug-in special characters do not work.

f.i. Rytec Magyarorszag XMLTV

should be:

Rytec Magyarország XMLTV

etc, etc....

However the imported EPG is OK. It is only in the menus. I have not found a solution.

I presume something in the plug-in python code has to be changed. But this is above my paygrade. (I do not understand anything from python)

Hello everybody

I am new here and my english is not good.

I have a VU + Zero with OpenPLI 6.0.

I use IPTV, but I have no EPG information. I have a list of all EPG information (.xml file)
I also have the plugin EPGImport but I get no EPG information, I have the existing list on filezilla on the following location on the Enigma2 loaded etc / epgimport and the existing file rytec.source.xml deleted and replaced with the correct data.
I can not retrieve the files now, I would like to delete only the EPG information from Italy Switzerland Germany and Spain all others, but I do not know how.

Can someone help me there?

I can also send you the EPG list to watch.

If your using IPTV, it is possible to have EPG.

However it needs a bit special settings.

The channels in the bouquets file needs to correspond with the service ref in the channels file.

You either adapt the bouquets file, or adapt the rytec.channels.xml file

Read the entries at the beginning of this thread pls.

Willy

PS: What do you mean with this statement:

I can not retrieve the files now, I would like to delete only the EPG information from Italy Switzerland Germany and Spain all others, but I do not know how.

PS2: If you using my xlsx file, when you export that to a channels.xml file, do not forget to remove all tabs.

I have only the files which are published.

But I suppose they do not work for you (because I understand you imported EPG and got nothing)

For IPTV you need to follow some rules. They are explained at the start of this thread.

All the above illustrates you have not read the rules or do not understand them.

I cannot give you files which gives you immediate EPG. IPTV can be different for each user.

Merci.

Can you please use the english language.

Indeed there is no satellite channel called VOOSport.

However the schedule is present in the XMLTV files for the VOO cable.

In this case you have to make the links yourself. The method how is described at the start of this thread.

A working example:

In the bouquet file you have this as channel reference (here the Nostalgie radiostation in Belgium)

#SERVICE 4097:0:1:1000:1000:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//stream10.fluoline.net%3a80/:Nostalgie
#DESCRIPTION Nostalgie

You have to make a channels.xml file containing:

<channels>

1:0:1:1000:1000:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//example.com

</channels>

The part http%3a//example.com is really needed, but can be the same for all channels.Also the 4097 has to be replaced by a 1
I called this file test.channels.xml and placed it in etc/epgimport

Hi Doglover ,

I assume you are living in belgium , me too. :)

I have done some research , in your epg excel file you still have the belgian 2BE channel along with his epg id: 1:0:19:3E9:A:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0: 2be.be

and an second one:

id: 1:0:19:1B90:C88:3:EB0000:0:0:0: 2be.be

I tried both settings and even added an xml file/

<channels>

1:0:19:3E9:A:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:http%3a//example.com

</channels>

I dont know if you added the new Q2 channel , previous this was named 2BE or can i use still the 2BE id ??

could you check this?
thanks

#DESCRIPTION Q2 HD

in my test.channels.xml :

<channels>

1:0:19:3E9:A:1:FFFF0000:0:0:0:http%3a//example.com

Try this:

#SERVICE 4097:0:19:1B90:C88:3:EB0000:0:0:0:http%3A//xxxxxxxxxx.com%3A8000/live/yyyyyyy/zzzzzzzzz/10001.ts
#DESCRIPTION Q2 HD

If you have the sat channels in the lamedb

And import the Flemish source from rytec

Willy

PS: if this still does not help. Send me your config files (sources and channels file) for epgimport.

Also the bouquetfile is required.

Use the PM for this.
