How do I reach the folder /etc/epgimport in my box?

Attached is the folder structure when I access the recordings.

pls. next time save the log and copy it from /tmp/

But from this, I can see that the importer is still running.

If you want to run it again. You have to stop it. And this can only be done by restarting enigma2. (either form the menu, or from an telnet window with the commands init 4 and init 3.)

Why it will not import anything, I do not know from this. I need the config files from /etc/epgimport/

You can reach them with either:

1. Make a connection with your PC in File Explorer (if you run windows)

2. Use an FTP program like FileZilla, and again make a connection with your receiver

3. Use DCC, and the build in FTP utitlity.

Can you explain, what you are trying to do?

Normally the EPG is updated from the signal you receive from a sat or cable.

This can be disabled, and you can switch over to a EPGimport which reads the Rytec files, or alternate files for Russia and Spain.

But be aware, that EPGimport for IPTV is not all that straight forward.

It depends on the fact that the IPTV channels have a service reference assigned to, and this service reference have to be referenced in the channels file of EPGimport.

And since most IPTV providers still assign 4097:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0: to all of there channels no chance for EPG. Unless you change it it yourself, which is a heel of a job.

I have no satellite or cable reception, I would like to access the EPG via the Internet.

First of all you need to install the EPGimport plugin from the feed of OpenPLi (or the feed of the image you use)

Configure it and select the EPG you want to import.

I strongly recommend an import after 9h30 in the morning. Clearing all EPG before importing, and disabling the setting: Only Import EPG for channels in Bouquets.

This last setting can be enabled, after you are succesfull setting up the import.

What sources do you want to select?

First of all under the General heading, you should select the News and Misc files. The news file contains the EPG of almost all the News channels.

The Misc file contains mostly Music channels and a assortment of channels which are the same all over Europe and have only an English EPG.

Channels like MyZen, Insight, Extreme Sports, Travel Channel, Nautical etc.

The Erotic source is clear what it contains.

Then for almost each country there are 3 files.

A Basic file, which contain the main channels (f.i. for France - The TNT file = TF1, France 2/3/4, Arte, C8, TMC etc)

A Misc file containing the channels like Discovery, Animal Planet, National Geographic, Food Network, etc.

And a Sport/Movie file containing the sports and Movie channels.

But that may not result in EPG for the channels you have from IPTV.

If there is EPG imported, depend on which service refs are given to the channels by your IPTV provider.

Can you show me a few entries in the bouquet pls. They do not have to work. You can replace username and password with dummy values.

Add the nocheck="1" parameter, like this:

<sourcecat sourcecatname="LatinMunic XMLTV">

LatinMunic XMLTV Astra

LatinMunic XMLTV Hispasat

I do not know why it does not import anything.

What is the content of /etc/epgimport/ClubPlus.channels.xml ?

The file http://hls.clubplus.eu/tvguide.xml seems to be OK.

I have recently added some IPTV channels in my main bouquet and I am trying to link the epg of the satellite channels to it. So I've installed the EPG import filter plugin to assign the correct epg to these IPTV channels, but whenever I run the filter plugin, it crashes after I answer "yes" to the question "do you want to save your changes" (after pressing the yellow 'advanced' button.

see logfile :

what am I doing wrong ?

ok, think I solved it - I created an empty "settings.conf" with attrib 777 in Extensions/EPGImportFilter and now it's not crashing any more - at least not at startup .....

These are the assignments.

And I believe the grab is correct.

For me 1:0:1:1BD5:384:110:5A0000:0:0:0 grabs correct data for Premium Comedy

1:0:19:2B16:1900:FBFF:820000:0:0:0:

For me is correct id on my channel list but grabs Rai2 /Rai3 data even on satellite feeds.
