Hello! I know that is not discussed here OpenPli5 work, but can you help me solve the problem?
I can not run the Photo Frame Samsung SPP-87h in LCD4Linux on OpenPli5, on OpenPli4 it works.
The log says that LCD4Linux not found the driver in the system

Hi,

Please install the the arm ipk for vuultimo and let us know if it works.

For vusolo2, et10000 use the mips ipk and let us know if it works.

Can somebody try the attached ipk of lcd4linux (based on 4.8-r2) and the ipk from #7 (that offers dpflib.so compiled from sources) ?

Pedro, hd51 is ARM box! so you need to use pydpflib_1.0-r0_armv7ahf-neon.ipk

PS. In OpenPLi 5 the hd51 also is using different tune, so armv7ahf-neon should be added in /etc/opkg/arch.conf

PPS. I am bulding pydpflib for cortexa tune, because it seems many machines are using now that tune.

Which arch number does it gets, the content is now

arch all 1

arch any 6

arch noarch 11

arch armv5hf-vfp 16

arch armv5ehf-vfp 21

arch armv6hf-vfp 26

arch armv7ahf-vfp 31

arch armv7ahf-vfp-neon 36

arch hd51 41

I added it as 46

Now the error is

root@hd51:~# opkg install pydpflib_1.0-r0_armv7ahf-neon.ipk                    

Installing pydpflib (1.0-r0) on root.

You are not using OpenPLi 5 ? Those files are for OpenPLi 5!

Sorry, not paying attention, still on the good old fashioned Openpli 4 (because Openpli 5 still doesn't exist )

I can wait 'till it's 100% ready, the Openpli 4 does what is has to do even with LCD4Linux (nice gimmick to play around with)

I tested (with new installation of SDG 5) the files but now  "no module named pil"

Fixes the problem?

opkg depends enigma2-plugin-extensions-lcd4linux
enigma2-plugin-extensions-lcd4linux depends on:
        png-util
        pydpflib
        python-codecs
        python-ctypes
        python-datetime
        python-email
        python-imaging
        python-mutagen
        python-pyusb
        python-shell
        python-simplejson
        python-subprocess
        python-textutils
        python-zlib

Above ipk already has the python-imaging in depens.

PS. I used that command to install them

opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-lcd4linux_4.8-r2-22\+3896994-r0_all.ipk pydpflib_1.0-r0_mips32el.ipk
