Hi,

I am looking for any file commander with view any files and edit text files possibilities.

I have used tuxcom so far on dreambox but seems it does not exist for vu+.

Maybe eCommander from gemini , but it can not work outside of GP3.x package.

 

Do you have any idea ? Where can I download ipk package of it?

have you tried mc which is for telnet or dreamexplorer which is a plugin?

You do not need a tool at all... Open explorer and type \\ip.of.you.box (e.g. \\192.168.1.65).... Or even \\boxname (e.g. \\vuduo2)....

Tech,

I have mc installed. Is a way (in enigma2) to open console window with mc started and navigate using remote control ? If true, this is a solution for me ... but I need a help how to do it.

where  am I able to download dreamexplorer ? It has to be for dreambox 900 because of the same arm processor , does not ?. It sounds nice ... it can be it.

absolutely not. Are you talking about dream explorer too ? Why do you suggest pressing name or ip if addon is run on device ? I need access to local resources only . The first purpose is checking entitlements of my card (read file possibilities).

I am not sure what do you want to write, but if your's talking about explorer is something else than tuxcom[mander]'s type of application , it can be like using too big system for do the same what is possible to do with small applicaton, or more funny ; use additional computer for do the same what is possible to do on the device directly.

Just about windows explorer.... yes the thing where you browse files with windows... Type in the address bar what I described above and you should get direct access just like it is a windows drive from your box... Totally no rare and weird tools required... Just edit files etc... with komodo edit or Notepad++...

 

And to get telnet access to your box install putty.exe.... nothing else....

I am sorry , but I have not asked about this. Like you can read in subject , the looking for solution is GUI addon.

Windows explorer ? On MS Windows computer ?  Hm, I can do it on my phone, I do not have to use computer ... but is not an addon.

Dream explorer seems to be good solution but ... when I tried to find it some (3-4) days ago I have not seen any. Now it is ... but

Dream explorer for uno4k has to be new shared addon . I updated openPLI image for be able to start dream explorer .  Thank you all for help in finding good solution.

I am searching for two-panel file explorer plugin (tuxcom - Tuxbox Commander), something like Total Commander in Windows. But Dream Explorer plugin is only single panel explorer.

 

Tuxbox Commander complies everything - side-by-side double panel explorer, full screen and basic features. But I cannot find working version for E2 Mipsel (like in NeutrinoHD) and don't want to use computer, only receiver's remote controller.
