You are right...
http://www.nodevice....6bd/206452.html (see page 60)
And the reason is that this is not a full HD TV... It is a HD Ready from 2007 (10 years) instead with max resolution 1360x768
Nothing to do then rescale the skin (if the box supports it) -or- use the non full HD skin...
With this TV you never kan see HD as it is intend for... and it removes left, top, right and bottom the overscan area always...

That's not entirely correct, there is no reason why a "HD Ready" TV set should always zoom overscan without the possibility to disable it. In practise, it was often the case, but there is no technical reason.

Hi,
I have 2 HDready. 1 has overscan which cannot be disabled (Schaub Lorenz = no name) and 1 where overscan can be disabled (Samsung Plasma). The Samsung Plasma behaves just the way my Samsung LEDs behave. By changing the aspect ration to Bildanpassung (sorry german) overscan is disabled.
ciao

Important note for some TVs with permanent overscan:
I have found out missing option on my LG LED 55 inch TV - "Just scan" option was present ONLY in English GUI. When I switched to my local language, neither "Just scan" nor its translated equivalent was there.
So, if you cannot find this, switch local language to English and try again.
