I have an edision mini twin tuner box and I have a 2TB memory stick that's formatted to exfat. iv'e tried installing the exfat 1.0-r0 from the drivers menu but all i get is the wget error. Could you tell me where i might download the ipk?

"opkg install fuse-exfat" should work.

Hi Milo! thanks for the quick reply. i tried the opkg command but it did'nt work, so i downloaded the ipk and tried to install it but this is what i got

Tried the opkg update also but still no luck!

I don't think MiLo said you should download it from somewhere else and install that.


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Hi WanWizard. i know Milo didn't suggest that i download it, but what other options do i have? I ran opkg update and got the following

Yeah. Flash your box with a real OpenPLi, because what you have installed isn't. We don't support things we haven't made.

Thanks WanWizard. i'm actually using the firmware that came with the box. I'll flash it with the current openpli image and see how i get on.

So i've flashed my box with the latest open pli build. Everything seem's to be going ok except crossEpg doesn't appear to be downloading the channel guides. Is there any alternative package i should use? As for the memory stick and the exfat i think my stick is dodgy. It works fine with an 8gb stick but not so well with a 2TB one.

For flashing, the older and smaller the stick, the better it works. Picking a 2TB one is definitely a bad idea. ;)

No, sorry, I don't use it. I use the xmltv import plugin.

ok after flashing my box iv'e noticed i can no longer pause live tv. Once again any help would be greatly appreciated. is there a plugin i need to install?

it's not working Erik Slagter. Whenever i press the pause button on the remote i get a small grey icon with a white line through it in the top right hand corner.

Please update your box. There was a bugfix yesterday. I hope this fixes the problem. Or you need to adapt timeshift path in the menu.
