Surely OE works on Fedora 25.

I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

Be sure to use master-next on Fedora 25.

PLi-4 (master) uses  a very outdated OE snapshot which does not build on Fedora 25.

Also building for the dm800 is not supported since it uses a very old kernel (2.6.18) which is compatible with the c-library (glibc version used in the OE snapshot of master-next).

The dm800se will do fine though :)

What about ubuntu 16.10 can I use it to build images to DM800 with old kernel (2.6.18) based on pli4 or can I install any packages?!

Because I'm using now ubuntu 14.04 and it is perfect with compile but I have some issue with this version (Black screen) after login normally to Desktop I need every time to disable graphic (nomodeset) to login to ubuntu (When I have ask about that issue in ubuntu forum that told me to upgrade to 16.10).

Thank you

I would rather take ubuntu 16.04 (that is the stable lts version) Normally important bugs resolving in 16.10 will be backported to 16.04 (so when I do speak about 16.04 I well do mean a regularly updated 16.04 that well).

I've tried version 16.04 before install version 14.04.

To build dm800se images Openpli4 or 5  no problem.

But to build dm800 images with old kernel (2.6.18) Openpli4 (I got to much error) as MastaG said.

Thank you
