I find it intriguing that only the solo2 has problems. But we're looking into it, please have a bit patience.

- are you using CI module

- are you using CI+ module

- what receiver are you using

- post the output of ls -l /dev/ci*

I'm not using any CI, only a card in one of the card readers. VuSolo2

Should I try to upgrade if the revert is online and active?

You should at least wait until the build is ready - tomorrow. The problem may be fixed but may not either. It's a complex area. Athoik is also working on it, please give him information he asks.

 

By the way I only reverted a part of the patch. The rest of the patch is really OK.

It's getting more and more strange, but at least only few receivers affected.

I hope the final result will be "insight" so we know better how this system works and it won't have been for nothing. Or better, how every (!) manufacturer implements this, because apparently, they're doing it all differently.

And please note... When you make some improvements something might fall..... .... Make a backup so you can always 'fallback' to a previous image.... Hopefully when 5 comes out you can choose for a stable edition....
