Hello.

I have problem "timer.xml cannot be loaded"

I tryed to delete timer and autotimer files. Replece timer.xml file token from another thread on this forum (https://forums.openp...age-3?hl=timers). Rename timers.old file.

It works until I create new autotimer.

PLS help.

Thank you.

We've seen issues like this before.

Then they were caused by illegal characters in the XML due to an incorrect EPG charset. So I am also very intrested in that timers.xml file...

In first post is attached.

In the zip file, both the timer.xml and the timer.xml.old are 0 bytes, so already truncated. We need to see the xml on which it crashes.

Sorry. It seems what it not depend on update.

If I restore image with autotimers from 2017.01.02. everything is ok.

Problem appear if I add new autotimer.

If I remove new added autotimer, everything is ok again.

As I expected, the non-working version contains illegal characters in the XML file.

Where do you load your EPG data from, and with what mechanism?

Sorry, but I don't understand question.
I press EPG button on remote, when yellow button, go to the program what I want to record. Press menu and create autotimer.
