Tried the OpenPLi-HDFull skin (and the Night version).  But got complaints from the boss (the wife).

The progress bar in the channel selection menu was according to here unreadeable.  And I have to agree with her.  Dark blue on a black background is not very clear.

I am not asking that you change it, just help me to change it on my receiver.

Opened the skin.xml file and I think it is defined somewhere here in the section <!-- Channel,EPG,EventInfo -->:

<widget name="list" position="780,108" size="1110,900" itemHeight="45" colorServiceDescription="yellow" transparent="1" serviceNumberFont="Regular;34" scrollbarMode="showOnDemand"
            serviceInfoFont="Regular;32" serviceNameFont="Regular;34" serviceItemHeight="45" foregroundColorServiceNotAvail="notavailable" fieldMargins="15" nonplayableMargins="15"
            foregroundColorEventSelected="white" foregroundColorMarkedSelected="red" backgroundColorMarkedSelected="#04101060" progressBarWidth="60" progressPercentWidth="80"
            itemsDistances="12" picServiceEventProgressbar="PLi-FullHD/window/sprogress.png" progressbarHeight="12"
            colorEventProgressbarBorder="darkgrey" colorEventProgressbarBorderSelected="darkgrey"
            colorFallbackItem="fallback" colorServiceDescriptionFallback="selectedFG" colorServiceSelectedFallback="selectedFG" colorServiceDescriptionSelectedFallback="white"/>

Only I cannot find here a definition for the color of the progressbar.

How can I change the color of the progress in the progressbar?

Willy

I think it looks nice and clear...

Can you make a photo or so it might get more clear what you mean.... In the latest modern skins the border(s) are removed from the progress bar trying to put more 'rest' in the skin. In addition a less aggressive color was chosen (blue instead of yellow)... and the color should be more cyan then dark blue...

The bars are based on a png - but you can define a color instead (see /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/ServiceList.py (or so) for all the stuff that is possible to 'finetune' via the skin.

The progress bar background may be an image instead of a skin definition?

I can find the picture:  picServiceEventProgressbar="PLi-FullHD/window/sprogress.png"

Is it then enough to change the color of this image?

Secondly:

I think it looks nice and clear...

That is a matter of opinion.  We do not think so.

And as I said, I do not ask you to change it, just help me to change it on my own receiver.

Willy

PS: making a screenshot, will require I activate the skin again - and the boss is watching TV now.

You can change some colors for PliFullHD skin. Install and use ModifyPLiFullHD plugin (is there in feed) and you can change colors of some parts and color of bars will not be problem then.

After some tampering this is what I made of it, and compare it with the original.

I am satisfied, I could change it to my personal taste.  So thanks for the hints.

Hi,

I customise PLi-full-hd skin to my needs. One of my favourites is chancing the color of the infobar's progressbar (infobar/pbar.png). to do this I make use of paint.net and chance the color of the picture.
But wouldn't is be more comfortable to make an solid coloured bar (with changeable color) with an transparent overlay to effect the shadow/3d. User could customise by chancing color hex.
Same could be used to make the color button, e.d. a solid button with an transparent overlay. It would help structuring the skin file.

Well as far as i know this bar, like all time related bar in all skin, it is an PNG picture and it is redered by phyton code in skin.xlm or template.xlm. Because of being a picture it's not easy to make change the color.
I think it should be possible to make a solid colored rectangle with length depending and an black/white transparant overlay. It should look the same but it will be possible to change color by easely change hex number of the rectangle.

Any idee how de code should look like when drawing a length dependable rectangle.

<eLabel position="270,952" size="???,300"

The ??? should represent depending length like render="Progress"

Do you know the right syntax?
