I've used CoolTVGuide for many years, but after an annoying timebomb in v7.3.0 which cost me some hours locating a fix on the internet, I decided to try OpenPli's own GEPG.  And I must admit I was surprised that the OpenPli's own GEPG was even better than CoolTVGuides v7.6.0 (just released)

But I have a simple question:

-How do I start OpenPli's GEPG with One button (Assign GEPG to eg. RED-button)

It's rather annoying to  use a Long-press on "Guide" and then press "1".

Use the hotkey feature to map the GEPG to the EPG button (or to any other button if you want, I've mapped it to F1 on my remote).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Where do I find the "Hotkey Feature" ?   I've tried the menu for GEPG, but there is no hotkey feature there....

Menu - Setup - System - Hotkey (from memory).

It is not a GEPG feature, it is a general key mapping solution, which in time could replace the current static keymaps.

Thanks :) ,  I'm using Norwegian language on the OpenPli, so it I had to use both my braincells to find the "Hotkey", but I've assigned it to red and it works fine.

So I've removed CoolTVGuide and will be using OpenSource OpenPli's GEPG from now on.

Lots of Kudos :-)

Ooops my EPG info has vanished.  I've reflashed my Vu+, and all settings were lost, so the EPG grabber that I had (and can't remember the name of) is also gone, so I wonder, Which EPG grabber/Importer/Downloader is recommended for Norway's 0,8W satelite, and where do I find this grabber?

I've tried CrossEPG but it Crashed my Linux tuner....
