Your ancient gstreamer can't cope with the modern streams... Remember that your STB is a very stripped Linux driven computer, lacking most of the enhanced features that modern PC's do.. All down to the (by today's standard) lack of available RAM..

Yes! That's exactly what I mean and it is very logical. VU Uno has very little RAM to play with. Every update on the OS and support plugins eat up more and more memory. At some point you reach dead end as the RAM is not expandable in these systems. Then the older SoC used in the VU+ and it's comparative low CPU speed limit the use of ever heavier modified streaming content..

If you wish to use modern IPTV streams you will have to use OpenPli 4.0 or OpenATV 5.3. If you run out of memory, you might wish to use a USB stick to upgrade your RAM. Not a very fast solution, but a solution none the less.

Best option is to ditch the older VU+ Uno and get a VU+ SoloSE v2..

There aren't any versions named "stable" at the moment, all images are compiled every night. In general, if by the evening you don't see people complaining about problems here, it is same to flash the latest image.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

@Baber,

I was replying to your initial question about IPTV, read the forum do the search that I suggest and you will understand (at least I hope so) why your IPTV is not working with OpenPLi 4.

I will say it once again. Now a bit louder. *** IPTV IS NOT SUPPORTED ***. No guarantees! Your settopbox is designed for DVB signals (T/C/S) not for IPTV.
