Try again, ffmpeg first, as described.
If some libraries are not included, try the appropriate set of commands for it (post no. 5)...

As I said, ffmpeg first.
Then IPTV Player.
If no results - additional commands.
Let's see the log, then...
Good luck!

I only try the ffmpeg post no #20 no't IPTV player on OpenPli6 and received "ffmpeg: error while loading shared libraries: librtmp.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Than I go back to OpenPli4 and was doing exactly the same commandos and everything work perfect.
One thing I notes was on OpenPli6 I had ver 2.24 "-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1441036 Jul 18 18:30 /lib/libc-2.24.so" ????

I still can't see people following the guide properly, sadly... Why do you "improvise" if you are not a competent coder? Follow the darn guide, guys! It's written by the author himself, mostly (well, all the important bits)...
No, openply, you do not have 800 but "dm8000"...
With 800HD PVR it is a special situation, whereby one needs Flash Expander or image on a USB stick, in Multiboot.

I did test it, in Zgemma H7S. I managed, but only after my second attempt, if memory serves (I tested it during my holidays).
It seems to me - and I am a lay person and hence possibly wrong - that OpenPLi image has some stuff missing, by comparison to previous images.... Am I really wrong here?

I compared Kodi (in ET10000 and Zgemma H7S - somewhat different results but they work) with IPTV Player using ffmpeg 3.2.2 by SSS and Exteplayer3, both under E2, and the results are... ironic...
FLV and some other formats/containers are often not working correctly under Kodi (which uses internal Gstreamer based Media Player), whilst IPTV Player (ffmpeg with Exteplayer3) does play etc.
On the other hand, internal Media Player plays full DVD files, but not through Kodi, hehe... (Kodi plays only some individual VOB files, not the whole thing, for which it needs a licence)...
OpenPLi has an internal DVD player (reached via FileList or Video or some such button), which plays full DVD files (sees them as a whole, not just individual VOB files).
It plays DVDs brilliantly without ifs and buts (well done OpenPLi!)!
So, this reversal of fortunes made me chuckle...
Good to have many options, nowadays!
Something will work, most likely...
But we still haven't something which works on everything, as intended...

Did you install ffmpeg?
How did you configure IPTV PLayer?
Which player do you use?

I managed to install iptv player on 7020HD as Gorski showed me....
However, when playing iptv channels from my bouquets I do not think that I am using the iptv plugin.....I do not have a clue what I have to configure.... I set bufferring to rtmp dump and http to yes but do not know what is the function of these....
Is iptv player the default player in dreambox image when installed?
Thanks
