Hi guys, is there a way to change the recordings setup?
I get 14 Gb file for a 2 hours movie in HD !!
I am on a Uno 4K.

Hi,
No you cannot, STB are recording the transport stream (ts) like it is received from the satellite.

7GB/hour isn't unusual for a decent bitrate HD recording.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I wonder which channel has so high bitrate? 
must be at least 14 MB/s.

I admit it is high, but not impossible. I've seen SKY Formula1 HD peak at over 20Mbps.

Not a bad bitrate then, a lot better than the same channels via the sat

Given the fact that on the sat, most HD channels look like SD, I think the cheaper encoder is used on the sat side...
