My attempt was from a VU+ Duo2. I can't receive 13E here, so I can't test other boxes.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

it is box specific openwebif issue, that affects et1000 and hd2400
https://github.com/E...beed75b71f9a5f7
https://github.com/E...beed75b71f9a5f7

if machinebuild in ('inihdp', 'hd2400', 'et10000'):
		transcoder_port = 8001
...
# When you use EXTVLCOPT:program in a transcoded stream, VLC does not play stream
	if config.OpenWebif.service_name_for_stream.value and sRef != '' and portNumber != transcoder_port:
		progopt="%s#EXTVLCOPT:program=%d\n" % (progopt, int(sRef.split(':')[3],16))
so this extra vlc option (necessary for streaming channels with shared pmt) is not beeing added for stream from these boxes because openwebif wrongly assumes that every stream from port 8001 is always transcoded...

Since when is 8001 the transcoder poort? That is a very stupid bit of hardcoding...

In my ET10K the streaming port is always 8001, transcoded or not. I have not modified it.

If I go to openwebif -> Settings -> Transcoding setup, and I change 8001 to another one, then transcoding doesn't work. it always looks for port 8001

The et10k and hd2400 can also transcode (native) from 8001. But also on 8002 using the streamproxy.

Are you sure that what you get is indeed a transcoded stream? Can you please check video size and bitrate of such stream?

I think it could actually be a simple stream.

Yes, it's transcoded.

It's easy to check.  I set the transcoding video size to 720, and I stream a SD (720x576) channel.

I get an 1280x720 stream.
