Dears,
I have VU+ SoloSE V2 box and I have noted 'heavy pixilation' on weak transponders with CCCam 2.3/open BH 1.009/PLi images.

I have tested the same transponder/same CCcam 2.3 with my VU+Zero (PLi) there's no pixilation. image is stable.

VU+SoloSE V2 is not compatible with CCcam?

Is there way to run some diagnostics on VU+SoloSE V2 to know whether the tuner is OK?

Just in case, from where can I order a new tuner for SoloSE v2? (with international shipping)?

A shot in the open:

You are connected to a Card-server via CCcam 2.3.0?

Have you checked the tuner with an FTA channel to see if there is pixelation?
Tuner specs are never 100% equal due to tolerances in the components. Depending on the size of your dish (I said dish, not dick!,) and the quality of your LNB most popular satellites will give a 10dB + signal..

More specific info from your end is mandatory...

I believe there nothing to do with the any of the images or CCcams , It could be Solo SE V2 having some issue,

 

Yes CCcam 2.3.0 is connected and works!

 

I have tested with FTA TPs on weak TP, intermittent pixilation is visible.

 

I did a satfind comparison  on Solo SE V2 and Zero on  the same TP i.e: DVB S211010V/32000/95E

 

My findings are below;

 

Solo SE V2 AGC:99% - Difficult to scan need scan several times to the channels, Heavy pixilation intermittent signal losses with 'tune error' on display;

Zero AGC:88% - One time scan no pixilation stable images.

Is there any diagnostic programs available on VU+ to test the Tuner HW ?

Am I having an outdated tuner version on Solo SE V2? (DVB S2 V 1.5 2013/08/23)
