Do we? Develop runs a different version of Python, with a different setup.

The reason why I couldn't do a pull request is because my PLi-4 env doesn't represent the current master branch at all.

It was heavily modified (in the most ugly ways) and from a time when I didn't use git.

Furthermore I guess youtube was never broken for me, because I manually updated OpenSSL to 1.x by placing the new recipes in my meta-openpli (requiring me to patch python 2.7.3 and python-pyopenssl to make it compatible).

So I guess my test-case makes no sense for people running the original PLi-4, aside from the fact that it confirms that it didn't break anything (iptvplayer, dreamplex and youtube still working).

My apologies :)

But athoik's patch should do it, since it was confirmed by other people already :)

I've made an exception here. Normally we require patched to be against develop branch and then backport it, after it has been tested. In this case that's a bit difficult, so I applied it.

If you like quality 1080p you can use host youtube from IPTVPlayer:

http://iptvplayer.pl/install.html

You need to install ffmpeg libs for your image:

http://iptvplayer.pl...tallmipsel.html

Then using exteplayer3 (movie player prepared for IPTVPlayer) you will be able to play youtube videos with 1080p quality.

SSS

To have 1080p quality you need to go to youtube host then press Blue button and "Configure host".

Then change option "Use default video quality" to "No" and "Allow dash format" to "Yes".

All utility installed.

Finish setting follow your guiding.

Two problems:

1. STB no video out by HDMI, I am not sure which step occurred, because I monitored all installations on Webif. Screen shot on webif is normal.

2. I search video on YouTube, no item to display feedback always.
