I have now the following in the channels file:

1:0:19:578:0:0:30AC29:0:0:0:

1:0:19:578:20:56:300000:0:0:0:

1:0:16:8FA:0:0:30AC01:0:0:0:

1:0:16:8FA:21:56:300000:0:0:0:

1:0:19:582:0:0:30AC29:0:0:0:

1:0:19:582:20:56:300000:0:0:0:

1:0:19:58C:0:0:30AC29:0:0:0:

1:0:19:58C:20:56:300000:0:0:0:

Can sombody explain me why the difference between f.i.:

1:0:19:578:0:0:30AC29:0:0:0:

and

1:0:19:578:20:56:300000:0:0:0:

Or is this just another clever clog, who decided to do things a bit different, and confuse some users like me?

The latest sources list should be available from the feed of the image you are using.

Either update EPGimport or the EPGimport-rytec plug-in.

(Images using the OE-A version do not have the EPGimport-rytec plug-in. But the source file is included in the EPGimport plug-in. In OpenPLi a separate version exist, but the sources file is also included in the EPGimport plug-in)

Since I do not understand the difference, I a hoping some-one can explain it to me, why vhannibal comes to these unusual service refs

You probably mean the namespace part? 300000 and 30AC29

300000 should be the correct value for 4.8E

This is in hex, you convert it to decimal and devide it with 655360

If the outcome is bigger than 180 you substract 360 from it (and multiply it with -1) to get the (western) satelliteposition.

If the outcome is smaller than 180 you already have the eastern satellitepostion.

So 300000 ---DEC---> 3145728

3145728/655360=4.8

Another example: namespace CE40000

CE40000 ---DEC---> 216268800

216268800/655360=330

(330-360)*-1=30 (30W)

Somehow on some transponders when you scan you don't get the value as it should be, instead you get something like 30AC29.

The first two digits will still be 30 since 30xxxx is the namespace for 4.8E (see calculation above).

AC29 somehow correspondents with the frequency that is scanned.
I still don't know when Enigma2 does this, maybe if you don't scan the exact frequency that is in satellites.xml?

Dreambox DM920:2x Triple tuner (2x DVB-S2X MIS and DVB-C/T2) Xtrend ET10000: 2x DVB-S2, 2x DVB-C, IPTV Xtrend ET9500 (defect)
Channel Master 120cm offset + Black Ultra LNB (Ku-band): 42°E-37,5°W - 100cm SAB draaibaar: 45.1°E-60°E - 80cm vast: 28.2°E/23.5°E/19.2°E/13°E

I am confused. Is this the History channel published on several EPG guide websites, or a new channel?

Can you point me to a correct schedule please, in order to avoid confusion.

Correct EPG for this channel is available at: http://xmltv.xmltv.s..._2020-05-15.xml

This file is for May 15. It is an example. There are files for several days.

Hi Willy,

is it possible to include the EPG of the second channel of Islandic TV, RUV 2? Its schedule can be found here: https://www.ruv.is/s...ruv2/2020-05-23

It does not broadcast from satellite, its IPTV only and freely watchable at https://www.ruv.is/s...nt?channel=ruv2

Best regards

I am still looking to get EPG.

Since this channel has only a few programs, and even days without a schedule, it is a problem grabbing a reliable schedule.

Hi, Willy,

there are indeed not many programmes shown...maybe this site works better: https://www.ruv.is/d...a/ruv2/20200525

or from here http://www.sjonvarp.is/ (on this site the channel is called RÚV Íþróttir).
