Supports offline decoding via CI: Sorry, I can't test it, I have no CI module.

Are you really sure? I have never seen this feature on a dreambox (and certainly not on a dm8000 which I owned).

Yes ... without softcam ... black screen and time going fast. With softcam ... playback is well

Hmm ... this very very lazy box doing what wants ...

I tried again. Playback: once is black screen and time going fast (file recorded on xp1000 on local hdd), 2nd try - using recorded file from net (recorded on dm800se) - and works (of course, with softcam only). Next trying - 3x black screen, 1x works (file recorded on xp1000). Then "no signal" and reboot needed ...

I guess the quality of the drivers for the xp1000 isn't what they used to be :(

I'll double check the XP1000 using my test file when I get back home.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

And Erik, yes I'm sure it works on the Dreambox. I tested it twice.

According to the list, there are some receivers that had no success..

BTW: There is another feature (API) that some receivers implement, others not.

It is called "Extended CW API".

I've added it at the Offline decoding page.. But I do not have any intel yet with receivers can work with Extended CW.

Extended CW is AES scrambling?

Is the option in OScam menu that controls DVBCSA/DES/AES128.

enum ca_descr_algo {
        CA_ALGO_DVBCSA,
        CA_ALGO_DES,
        CA_ALGO_AES128,
};

enum ca_descr_cipher_mode {
        CA_MODE_ECB,
        CA_MODE_CBC,
};

typedef struct ca_descr_mode {
        uint32_t index;
        enum ca_descr_algo algo;
        enum ca_descr_cipher_mode cipher_mode;
} ca_descr_mode_t;

#define CA_SET_DESCR_MODE  _IOW('o', 136, ca_descr_mode_t)

PS. There is also another API that is used in CI (dreamci)...

enum ca_descr_data_type {
        CA_DATA_IV,
        CA_DATA_KEY,
};

enum ca_descr_parity {
        CA_PARITY_EVEN,
        CA_PARITY_ODD,
};

struct ca_descr_data {
        unsigned int index;
        enum ca_descr_parity parity;
        enum ca_descr_data_type data_type;
        unsigned int length;
        unsigned char *data;
};

#define CA_SET_DESCR_DATA _IOW('o', 137, struct ca_descr_data)

Is this a way to decode Power channels without the stream relay option in Oscam? If so.. must something be done or just select the powervu channel (with the right keys?)
