Be good Willy of you could start a specific Rytec Sport XMLTV package??

 

Then loads of EXTRA sport channels could be added??

 

Just a thought ...

As you see, This subject has been split off the Sky UK thread.

 

 

I will not create a separate SPORT XMLTV file.

Several reasons for not doing this:

 

1. The current packages are based on a countries and providers.  Countries which have many overlapping channels are grouped together. 

 

2. Sport channels are notorious difficult to provide EPG for.  It seems that these channels do not want to publish there schedules.  Or publish something which is not really correct.  The sport channels which are now provided in the different packages are already borderline with concern to accuracy.

Adding a bunch more foreign channels with questionable EPG is not a good idea.

 

3. Almost all sport channels which can be received in Europe are included now.  I will not expand this further to American or Asian channels.  You can argue that I provide sme channels for the Middle East and the French overseas departments.  These have been historically added.  And these will be the first to be disregarded when I have to downsize.

 

4. I suspect the reason for asking this SPORT XMLTV file, is IPTV.  Illegal IPTV providers sell SPORT packages with all kinds of SPORT channels.  I will facilitate this practise by providing EPG for these channels.  Ask your IPTV seller to provide EPG for these channels.
