With my Duo2, when i press "pause", the file stop redaing, but the image doesn't stay on the screen and at her place, i have the list of the media player.*

When i press "pause" or "play" again, the movie restarts normally.

I don't know how i can explain this differently.

What do you need as information to find a solution ?

HD 51 Multiboot:
can´t unmount/oldroot_bind: no such file or directory

It's not an image which can be flashed via ofgwrite. It should work via USB stick, but I currently don't know how it works.
We're currently testing something. Please wait some days.

Just finish trying out new img and i don't see any significal diferrance.

Apart from some rearranging of the menu's, there is no visual difference. There are a lot of technical differences though.

But still missing to me in Full HD skin ... <cut> This is very usefull to me

And so everyone has their own taste and requirements. Find a skin that suits yours, and install it.

Besides one thing suprise me, that DVB drivers are from 22 of may 2017 and there is no problems with tuners C and D, like now in PLI 4 with drivers from 28 december 2016 :( So VU+ deliver to you proper drivers but to old img they still waiting ?

OpenPLi 4 development has been frozen for a few weeks now, pending the new release. So it could well be the old BSP was updated as well, we haven't checked.

Thanks team for perfect RC release. It works for me on Solo2 the same way as OpenPLI4. Especialy I have to thank for IPTV streaming. Now it is almost perfect. I was allways sad because there was a problem with connection and stability to compare it to Win or Android. Unbelievable progress even in streaming from another receiver. The only one remark, I can't find Streaming Clients Info in Menu - Information. I will wait for stable release to flash it to Ultimo 4K as well.

The menu is available in 3 levels of "difficultly", "basic", "advanced" and "expert".

By default it is set to "basic" which is enough for the average user, and hides complexity. You can alter in via setup -> settings -> customize if you want to see more options.

VU+ Ultimo 4K:

RC 6.0.

2.) Most times when I turn on the tuner from standby, I'll get a flickering picture when using cableTV. It almost looks like interferance. I have to restart to get a normal picture. I am using  a VU+ FBC-DVB-C cableTV tunermodule.

(This is not a problem on tested Blackhole img).

     No problem on DVB-S2 module.

I have never seen this on mine. Do you have the DVB-C FBC tuner in the FIRST tuner slot?

My hardware configuration: Tuner A slot: DVB-S2-FBC, NIM (45208 FBC) tuner A-H

                                             Tuner B slot: DVB-C- FBC, NIM (BCM3148) tuner I-P

                                             Tuner C slot: switchable DVB-T or C, NIM(TT3L10) tuner Q-R

Picture freezes and a sort of flickering picture. I am unable to select another DVB-C channel.

Just what I said. If you have a closer look on the box the Ultimo came in, you will see the DVB-C FBC tuner MUST BE in the FIRST SLOT.

The OpenPLi 4 VU+ BSP hasn't been updated on purpose. Most receivers now work quite well, we don't want to spoil that with new drivers.

I hope this is the right place to report a problem with version 6 which I have just installed on Vuplus Ultimo 4K . This machine has the Vu+ C/DVB-T2 card but no DVB-T2 channels are found by the service scan ( i.e. no HD ). I have tried both manual and automatic scans including using channel and frequency specific ones on a channel which I know to be present. Please note that the same problem occurred with the pre-installed Vuplus image but I was able to fix it with the latest VuPlus image. Is some kind of Vu+ driver update needed for OpenPLi? I'm hoping I can stick with this implementation which in my opinion strikes a good balance between functionality and complexity.

Another question : when a new verson will be available, will be necessary to download it or it will automatically be installed on our vu+ ?

At the moment, major releases require a download + flash. If you use the autobackup plugin (with autoinstall activated) to make a backup on your harddisk or an USB stick. you can flash without losing your settings or installed plugins (if installed from our feeds).

Minor releases (6.1, 6.2, etc) can be updated from the box. OpenPLi never installs anything automatically.
