Inside same version you can upgrade that version. If there will be an 6.1 that's new flash again.

Yes and no... :)

If you are brave enough you can simply switch feeds and everything should be fine, as long as the OE remains the same.

# 6.0-rc to 6.0
sed -i 's/openpli-6.0-rc/openpli-6.0/' /etc/opkg/*.conf
# 6.0-rc to 6.1
sed -i 's/openpli-6.0-rc/openpli-6.1/' /etc/opkg/*.conf
Although most probably using autobackup will be fast enough without half broken image.

You may assume that athoik is aware of that fact. And yes, the intention is that it can be done without risk. If it proves to be impossible/risky in this case (6.0 -> 6.1) we will advertise that fact.

Just a last request...wueh 6.0 final was released...i can upgrade this version or i must flash entire new image ?

You need to flash again. The R/C is just a test image, "not to be used in production".

p.s. if you make a backup, make sure you check "autoinstall", so the restore also reinstalls your plugins again (note: not the onces you have installed manually, only onces from our feeds).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

VU+ Ultimo 4K:

RC 6.0.

2.) Most times when I turn on the tuner from standby, I'll get a flickering picture when using cableTV. It almost looks like interferance. I have to restart to get a normal picture. I am using  a VU+ FBC-DVB-C cableTV tunermodule.

(This is not a problem on tested Blackhole img).

     No problem on DVB-S2 module.

I have never seen this on mine. Do you have the DVB-C FBC tuner in the FIRST tuner slot?

My hardware configuration: Tuner A slot: DVB-S2-FBC, NIM (45208 FBC) tuner A-H

                                             Tuner B slot: DVB-C- FBC, NIM (BCM3148) tuner I-P

                                             Tuner C slot: switchable DVB-T or C, NIM(TT3L10) tuner Q-R

Picture freezes and a sort of flickering picture. I am unable to select another DVB-C channel.

Just what I said. If you have a closer look on the box the Ultimo came in, you will see the DVB-C FBC tuner MUST BE in the FIRST SLOT.

I have switched the tuners and it's ok for sure. This box came readymade from my dealer. That was the problem

Still, there is a problem with teletext transparency. I cannot change it to fully black background.

So your dealer needs a pair of glasses or just a tad of patience ;)

The plugins are called

enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport - 1.0+git110+127feaf-r0.0
enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport-rytec - 20170630-r0.0

so I think you need to check under X for "XMLTV..."

Please add support for PowerVu so we shouldn't have to use 'stream relay' option any more.

Thanks for making such a good image, I will install oscam easily, but can you take care about proper drivers in 6.1?

Define "proper drivers"?

The BSP (hardware support layer) that supplies the drivers is maintained by the manufacturer. We have so use whatever they supply.

Obviously I mean on drivers that support DES encrypted PowerVu channels, then we shouldn't have to use stream relay...anyway you said drivers causing issue, can you fix it?

Driver issues we cannot fix.... and when there are new drivers the manufacturer should upgrade the BSP....

For which box do you need a new driver?
