The TV is set correctly. If I move the OSD in the tuner, it moves the entire infobar and it breaks on the left and does not look right, it looks. HbbTV is not working yet. When you press the red button no reaction.

You don't have to shout or use huge font size.
But if you don't see the volume bar, the tv uses overscan. Some tv don't allow to disable overscan. Unfortunately.

Volume bar is visible. What's the problem?

Sorry I'm not screaming. A large font I copied. First photo from OpenPLi 6.0 RC, second photo from OpenPLi 4.0. Same settings on TV and tuner. https://www.fotosik....91edc9bcb14b676  https://www.fotosik.pl/zdjecie/c7c80df9d257ee43

So and yes, what is your point? Disable the overscan on your TV set, you will see whole picture, not 80% and you will also see the volume bar in all of it's glory.

If you (in expert mode) go to menu -> settings -> system -> Audio/Video -> Overscan wizard you can test for yourself. You should see the picture as below (with all arrow heads), if not your TV is not displaying all information send to it.

If there is no setting on the TV to use all information, you should use a non full HD skin

Everything is set correctly. Simply programmed in OpenPLi, the volume bar was a little farther from the edge of the left side. That's all. Can you change the position of the volume bar programmatically? https://www.fotosik....0c2c5504f41ac83 https://www.fotosik....94917ec6d50a27f

Yes, only the default skin in OpenPLi 6.0 RC is prettier than the default in OpenPLi 4.0. It is more expressive and has nicer colors :) Can programmers be able to shift a bit from the edge of the bar? It will be more aesthetic, because the skin is perfect. Either where and in what file can be changed, it is myself, then I will try to do it alone. The second question why HbbTV is not working? Regards

It is perfect now... I'm afraid you need to configure your TV properly.... your description indicates you watched to slightly zoomed in HD for a long time.... Look for tons of overscan topics on our forum!

Before I take the plunge and install v6, can I ask if there is any visible benefit of moving from v4 to v6 on my vu ultimo 4k?

The TV is configured correctly, as shown in the previous pictures. Do not fall for this ideal in self-raising, because you can always change something for the better.

Apparently most of us don't see it as "better" to have the volume bar in the center of the screen.

Not in the middle of the screen, just not touching the edge. Just move away from the edge of 5mm.

Perhaps the wiki needs a section on skin design, to explain how you can make these modifications yourself.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.
