SMB version? CIFS auth mechanism? Or maybe suffering from this issue: https://www.engadget...ss-heres-a-fix/

using SMB2/3 on OSX 10.11.6 and only Vu doesn't work with it (on the other hand Vu works with everything else)

Samba on the box does SMBv1, we're still working on getting that fixed properly (topic: https://forums.openp...mb-2-in-openpli).

And you can not contact the box at all? Or is it only samba that doesn't work anymore?

Does the box otherwise still work fine? Does the web interface still work? Can you still connect to the box via telnet or FTP?

yes box works fine, ftp, telnet, webif etc all keep working, only smb stops working?

Weird.

Nothing in the log files when that happens?

Hi,

You can connect to a Solo4K from macOS, in the finder when you click on the Solo4K it won't connect, you need to click on connect as... (upper right of the window) and select guest and you will access your Solo4K Harddisk.

Who am I to judge? ;)

But I expect your menu level isn't set appriopriately, causing more advanced config items to be hidden.

You are not the first one to get caught out with that. Won't be last either.

Type, for example, radiohead in the search field and press OK.

Also, all entries in My Feeds report 'There was an error in creating entry list! Maybe try other feeds...'
