Are there new recognizes when we can use hbbtv aut 6.0 RC?
I use a vu+ solo2 and hbbtv is a important function for me.
Do you have a workaround?

I'd thought I also try this version if it fixes the HbbTV on my HD2400, but after restarting enigma2 keeps hanging at startup (spinner).

Too bad, you have a new release for HD2400 also maybe? I'd like to test if HbbTV is working then again through the tuner.
The strange thing is I have 2 HD2400 (both with internal DVB-C tuners) and HbbTV with Openopera from the feed works only through streaming on the bedroom box (while the source comes from the same tuner as the tuner downstairs is the same with the same OpenPLi 6 RC and the same drivers). Both upstairs and downstairs it doesn't work if the signal comes straight from the tuner (so remote streaming does something that it works again, but directly it has a glitch).
The box downstairs also has both DVB-C and DVB-S and the following is the case:
- Reboot bedroom box go to a DVB-S tuner through streaming on the other box -> HbbTV works
- Reboot bedroom box go to a DVB-C tuner through streaming on the other box -> HbbTV works
- Reboot bedroom/livingroom box go to a DVB-C tuner directly -> HbbTV doesn't work
- Reboot living room box go to a DVB-S tuner directly -> HbbTV doesn't work

Unfortunately not. With this one installed I don't get an image on the screen anymore (after the RC 6 bootscreen the screen gets black, although I do hear the sound of the channel) and also the display on the reciever seems strange (it gives the info but in a large font).
Deinstalled it through Putty and everything fine again. If I can do something to test further just let me know.

While installation , I had the follwing report:
root@vusolo2:~# opkg install /tmp/*el.ipk
enigma2-plugin-extensions-opera-hbbtv: unsatisfied recommendation for bcm-au
enigma2-plugin-extensions-opera-hbbtv: unsatisfied recommendation for boxmodel
Installing enigma2-plugin-extensions-opera-hbbtv (1.0) on root.
Configuring enigma2-plugin-extensions-opera-hbbtv.

Hbbtv is o.k.
When I leave the mediathek, the display shows webbrowser and there is no reaction of the buttons of remote control.
When I push the exit button, everything is o.k.

I find that strange as it is part of the OE-A, so any receiver that has support can install the qthbbtv plugin, in any of the OE-A images. Whilst OpenPli is not part of the OE-A surely it must be easy for Openpli to install??
True, and I think that's the case as ATV is Open Source (but not sure); worth a good look.
It would be nice if they open sourced/shared it then, so everybody can use it (just like OpenPLi shares everything with everybody)..And that's probably the reason ATV created one HbbTV plugin that runs on all boxes?
You are wrong. Hbbtv from OpenATV is not open source (yet).
I have no idea what the 'qthbbtv plugin' is and where to find it.
openopera its same as vu opera no changes, but vu version works with all mipsel boxes better as no hbbtv
That is not correct: the VU-HbbTV plugin supports a 1080-skin, and OpenOpera does not.
?? hbbtv was close have nothing todo with atv
ATV has changed several things in such a way that the plugin runs on all boxes. One of the changes is a hidden file:
Source: git://github.com/oe-alliance/oe-alliance-plugins.git;protocol=git;branch=2.3 file://0001-enable-hbbtv-for-all-boxes.patch
vix team have all info looks only rob get not all infos from vix team
I have no idea about the ViX-team; this is the PLi-board.......
But the ViX-team is free to step in.
We can spend as many words on this as we want, but bottom line is that ATV has an HbbTV solution for many (all?) boxes, and so far I didn't notice any enthusiasm to hand this over to PLi as a ready-to-use build-recipe.
Why should PLi have to reinvent the wheel, while on the other hand ATV uses much of the PLi development? That can't be the idea of a real 'Open Source' community......
