Yes, but you can not compare the two. That is like saying "I have this programme that doesn't work on Windows 10. But it works on Windows 95, all ok.".

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Yes, but I'm just saying the fact. Plugin itself works 100%, but no HbbTV.
And yes, I can't fix it myself.

O-Opera doesn't support 1080-skins.

And if it would be fine, it should be on the feeds.

Hi ims!

I confirm, that it works with PLi-FullNightHD (after these operations). What to do to make it work also with PLi-HD?

omega.ini is needed for all FullHD skins. For SD skins (PLi-HD) use original ini.

Files .py for plugin are needed always. Launcher and lib is needed for oe6 only.

Can you put the original ini, because I do not backup this. I can get this also back again, probably by new installation.

Very confusing terminology: PLi-HD is an HD-skin (720), hence the name :)

And with 'FullHD' you mean a 1080-skin.

Yep... the naming of the skins are not clear as 10 years ago we called a 1280x720 skin, which was the max that time, was called HD skin.... Now we have HD (Ready) 1280x720 and full-HD 1920x1080 skins... :(

There is no such thing as 'full HD'.

We have HD (which can be 720p, 1080i and 1080p; all are official HD-resolutions) and SD (which is everything below HD).

Yep... Full-HD is "made" to indicate a full-HD skin, which means 1920x1080...

"HD-ready" and "full-HD" are marketing terms when it comes to TV.

But this is purely about OSD resolution, so terms like 1080i or 720p are not relevant. Ideally it should have been "PLi-720" and "PLi-1080-Night", which would make it very clear what it is.

I don't think anyone is pointing the finger or putting the blame with anyone. This is a choice made in the past, with no objections. No point looking back.

I do agree that for the average enduser, it might be confusing (like the term "HD-ready" on a TV is, is that or isn't that HD TV?), so we might want to address this at some point in the future.

Sorry about that (if it was me); just trying to point out that the terms being used are quite confusing.

And using terms like '720/1080-skin' would be fully clear, no misunderstanding possible.
