There you go.... ;)

maybe we need to consider to remove them.... this was one old think that was (partly) ported from E1.... long time ago and I asume not really required anymore...

Oh yes, it is required.

Please leave it operational....

Or provide an alternative way of running something (bash files) from the RC

For a lot of things ... f.eg. change boot mode on vs1500, reload/restart/stop services etc etc ... download ... I think, a lot of users using it too.

And I do not want to have one big ppanel for all in once and use Hotkey for it.

Why create plugin or why turning on PC, if there are ppanels ?

And why can't hotkey be used instead, exactly?

I see, that you using it never ...  If you have f.eg. 6 scripts, you will use 6 hotkeys ? I forgot, that some RC's has a lot of free keys...

Btw - problem is, that /etc/ppanels is not created only...  if user has backup with /etc/ppanels content, after restore it is recreated and works again...   (or if manually create it and put there ppanels)

That is correct. It was a question not a remark ;)

I don't think "old" functionality should go always, but if there is some functionality that resembles it closely, it may be interesting to extend it there and remove the old, now duplicate code.

What is duplicite on ppanels ? User can create own scripts - put it into list, can create submenu etc ... and need not hotkey for it. All have under Blue submenu.

With hotkey you can put mutliply functions under just one key.... It can build a list of functions... You see a choisebox...

As I saw - removing /etc/ppanels directory was "sideeffect" only ... then this discussion is irelevant ... all what is needed is restore creating this directory
