I tried MACHINE=dm900 make image, but NO GO: too  much errors

In fact this box is beautiful, but for trying I do not have it.

No, I came to the more serious errors, I did three tests, and all of which ended with errors, I have no idea. When the line was so long, then I can only do a partial part of it.
I'm going to see if I'm going to try again tomorrow, I'm touching, then catch the error(s). In fact we've got the number of such boxes exist here, but I do not want to ask users to experiment with things that they may have troubles after the test.
With dm7020 all OK!

Aside from that.. the dm900 costs like 280 euros.. for a single tuner 4k receiver..

People must really have warm feelings for the brand

See our statement, already some years ago, about DMM. It has nothing to do with our desire or "problems", it has to do with the attitude of DMM towards open source image makers.

 

And like mastag already mentioned, you can get the same or better specs for far better prices, I don't see the unique selling poing of DMM receivers.

Also don't mistake me for a dreambox lover because in my opinion dreambox is trash.

I'm working on https://github.com/DMM-PLi/meta-dream because of helping people and contribution to open source community, I don't even have an enigma2 STB.

I made my build server fresh today- I cleaned, I added memory, speed, processors, swap and disk. When this happens, then I will continue in the next week (since it took my time).
dm900 is not at all expensive, and there are few such a beautiful little colored boxes around. My concern is that for the license are three serious warnings. I have a feeling that even if it succeeds, then the future without the commitment of both sides have a question mark. In any case, I will continue testing. Maybe I can borrow from a friend to test the box (dm900). It would be in my interest. I am ready to contact also with dmm, if it is necessary, but there are certainly a contracts, to prohibit the use of open source, I'm absolutely sure about this. That's why they are closed.

Explain yourself.. what do you mean with "the use of open source" vs "closed" and the "license"..
What are you going to do with dmm?

OK, explanation. Have you tried to build MACHINE=dm900 make image? If yes, then in first time you can see the licenses errors. I think that this is not very OK!? These can be transferred, but it is already a sign of not OK things, in my opinion.

In that case, we can drop all e2openplugins including openwebif. Same error.

 

Ok..That's MIT license, anyway.

Yes, if you say so. But I'm not a specialist, as a rule, I accept the parties together before, if anything to do. In my dm7020hd, I can't get these errors.
