I take your word for that.

But given their DNA I wouldn't be surprised if they 'use the same drivers as others' (if you see what I mean). And the example in this thread seems to support that.

The BSP updates (which are public, as you know) tend to suggest otherwise.

Whatever you may think of their products, they are in the heart of the Chinese Silicon Valley and therefore will have at least access to technologies and contacts that are used by other company‘s such as Mut@nt.
Regardless of what some people think, there is not much difference between some of the established (e.g lifetime > 4 years) “Brands“ and Zgemma ..... Having worked with a few Asian company‘s including Samsung ... I am extremely cynical about some of these so called „Brands“

Zgemma H9twin & Zgemma H9 C/S mode into Giga4K

Fails to obtain tuner lock after moving the dish. Needs a zap to sort it out.

I am not sure if a zap always helps, at least in my case. Often, even after a zap I still need to wait a considerable amount of time for the signal to appear.

An amount of time between 20-35 seconds and after 5 seconds that the image appears .
This is impressive!!!!
Done a test with an Open PLI firm with date of March 2017 and with current tuner in AVL 6211 receiver, motor moves the parabolic and marks signal and immediately opens image, with signature of July the same tuner and with added S2X, the delay is inescapable.
This is not an Open PLI Team phallus, it is a failure of Tuner drivers removed as a Novelty and the base drivers are from manufacturer Mutant and respect Zgemma. Reciever Octagon SF4008 also carries dual S2X tuner and goes in perfection.

Thanks Team

This is not the only problem, so far I have detected three driver variations used in different receivers with Silabs. I will compile a table and post it soon!

Only Silabs driver that works correctly with motorized parabolic is Octagon SF4008, I do not know if there is an option to adapt it with other models that use S2X tuners.

Thanks

The manufacturer has responded an official distributor in Spain, which problem may be from some brands of engines .Something surreal, because the previous images of June 2017 with their AVL 6211 natural tuner do not exist. If I have put STAB engine for more than 10 years and all tests go through there, I confirm that all this happens since the new S2X was added .
Thanks

My motor is Moteck SG-2100.

Anyway, what they say is ridiculous. Who responded? Mutant?

This is absolutely ridiculous. This and something I read about the SDK. I can also blame my TV for being LED and not OLED, my PC for being 8 core and not 12 core and my cat for being female and not male.

I'm now waiting for three different femon commands from users of Vu+Zero, SF4008 to add to what my Mutant returns. You'll be surprised at how differently they behave. If the SDK was the same for everyone, all brands with Silabs tuners (except Dreambox which seems to have played the game differently) would have the very same symptoms. Guess what, they don't!

Here we do not talk about looking for the guilty to revers we need solution already !  Impossible that there is not, unfortunately the marks indicated by you work in perfection and carry tuners S2X - Zero 4K and Octagon SF4008 ..According to the logic of a user with years of experience is that the drivers of manufacturers Mutant and ZGemma, I return to clarify with same chipset have made some error in the support sense. I have Oled TV that just does not help me to move parabolic quietly on the other hand the image of Mutan and Zgemma are above Zero 4K and a hair on top of Octagon SF 4008. I have SF4008, only my ass itches, a common sentence in Spain that the manufacturer of Octagon I have not given option to my dear Team OpenPli give support of this model now I have to suffer with Mutant and in case of purchase with Zgemma .

... but probably not difficult to add in the Octagon meta (its available elsewhere) and run an OpenPli build, Yes not true “pure“ OpenPli but 99% pure!

For me it is great. The sf4008 is my main test receiver. I can have OpenPLi develop loaded in OpenMultiBoot. That way I can use that box to test enigma2 code before submitting it to OpenPLi repo.

For me the image quality of Mut @ nt 51HD or Zgemma H7S/C  is above quality that Octagon SF 4008 lends.
Practically if this bug does not exist for the users that use motorized antenna, they would be the two devices with more quotation in market in general. Better than those of VU and of other marks.

And this tested on a real Sony KD-55A1 TV OLED
