Try send standby to TV as:  0x36  (Real phys. address Yes, Addresed to 0x00) with Green (Send).

Then open Owif and change command to 0x04 (Image View On)and send it => TV will wake up.  If will not set true input, send from Owif 0x82 (Active source)

Then you can see, that HDMI-CEC works well...    (Btw - Yellow, as you used it - is toggle to monitoring HDMI CEC screen  (of course, there is under next Yellow "Standby" too) )

If works Standby/Wakeup TV from HDMITest manualy, then it works from image too. I am using same cpp parts ( i think ... created in 2012 ... loong time ), but without delay. =>

try there in HDMI-CEC set Senddeinterval to "Disabled".  Why you using there 250ms ? It was useful for DMM boxes or some stupid TVs ...

I wonder if Openpli Team uses libcec Implentation like kodi and raspian in openpli 6?

https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec

In VTI Image a CEC HDMI implementation is used that does not offer support for all cec hdmi commands.

So some commands that offer to control volume of pioneer avr are not supported.

message ID : 7A - Reports an amplifier’s volume and mute status (Directly addressed)

http://www.cec-o-matic.com/

shows which commands could be used.

parameters

  • Audio Status
  • Audio Mute StatusAudio Mute OffAudio Mute On
  • Audio Volume Status

Will these commands work in Openpli 6 because cec hdmi lib implementaion was used?

We use the linux CEC kernel framework: https://www.kernel.o...i/cec-core.html

That however is only an abstraction layer on top of the vendor driver and vendor hardware, and we have no information on how (well) that is implemented.

Hi WanWizard, thank you! As usual looks complicated. I will try to check. In libcec in raspbian and on kodi all commands and not only button pressed are supported.

You can use the hdmitest plugin in the feed to manually send/receive/debug CEC commands.
