about that from an other thread;

 

No one has ever tested OpenMultiboot for Mutant HD 2400.

I think that it will not work, since my requests have not been accepted, more than once.

Enable nandsim module

[all box] add kernel/rootfs value, enable nadsim/ch341 module

first the problem with openmultiboot for vu ultimo 4k and also mutant hd 2400 is i think the same.

i can use openmultiboot with this boxes, but only if i install openpli (similar if pli-4.0 or pli-rc 6) in the flash - then it works perfectly.

 

the problem which i have seen comes only if i install openpli with openmultiboot on usb-stick

, in this case i have big problems with mounts, i use only fstab with uuid mounts for my harddisc(s) and usb-sticks

so this mounts are 100 % correct but only when openpli was installed in flash

, if i install it on usb-stick then this mounts are didn't work correct despite uuid entries in fstab

 

in this case two mounts from my four mounts didn't work, and if i look with the command mount in telnet what is fact

mount says all is ok mountet, but be sure, it isn't

Openpli flas and another Openpli with openmultiboot on usb-stick?

no openatv in flash and openpli on usb-stick, but at the moment as i said

i have openpli in flash and openatv on usb-stick that works perfect

 

i need time to give you the outputs from

cat /etc/fstab

mount

blkid

df -h

cat /etc/int.d/volatile-media.sh

ant then in the other thread (link in your last post) ok ?

 

but i'am not sure if the outputs can help because when openpli was on usb-stick i checked the outputs

mount and blkid always and they are looked good (correct) also the fstab entries, but the mounts are still not correct

because if i go in a mount directory as example /media/usb1 which the command mount shows as correct nothing data was in there

also checked with ls -l /media/usb1

 

the same problem i have seen with another image (vti) if i install it on usb-stick but vti didn't support openmultiboot

but  as i said i give you the outputs if i have a bit more time.

I had this same problem when ViX in flash and PLi in usb-stick with openmultoboot in my Ultimo 4K. So I flashed with PLi and installed ATV and ViX with openmultiboot and now everything is ok.

But why my Duo2 works fine if ViX in flash and PLi in usb-stick with opemultiboot?
