Hi my friend again why vodafone has the message ?

"[Warning ] !! -- WARNING : vodafone.gr doesn't allow epg grabbing !!

[Warning ] it is advised to disable this channel / site from your channel list"
Although Discovery from CABLENETCY.NET had the info of "total after update 258" in vodafone there is no such message.

I search an alternative because I had no EPG in TLC from CABLENETCY.NET is there any other source except vodafone to have the epg all the other channels I want are ok from CABLENETCY.NET

And something else can you help me pointing me to look somewhere else to troubleshoot the problem?

Thanks again for your help

You can ignore this. But it is up to you.

It works, but you are violating the user permission of the website.

I have a problem with rytec norwegian channels. for some reason, when I try to get epg with crossepg, I get the error in logs:

the problem- there are no such files for norwegian channels. When I manually update /usr/crossepg/providers and change address to http://rytecepg.epgs...channels.xml.xz it all goes well. But problem is that after some time (week or so) crossEPG updates providers and problem comes back. is it possible to fix this issue?

Also have a question about Norwegian channel VGTV and

You are using a very old set-up.

rytec.channels-norway.xml.xz does not exist anymore, already for a very long time.

Everything is intergrated in the rytec.channels.xml.xz

You can try to replace rytec.channels-norway.xml.xz by rytec.channels.xml.xz

The above is the exact problem. But I noticed that in some set-ups this error still existed.

Corrected it. Except 1 mirror. This will be tomorrow.

Well, I'm using CrossEPG 0.8.6, but I guess providers, downloaded from servers (when press update provides) where not updated. Now the problem is fixed! Thank you!!!

OK, now about Norwegian channel VGTV. From what I see, there is EPG for that channel, but the ID or Service reference is not matched up. (in one place id is VGHD, in second- VGHD.no Maybe that is the problem?). Also it looks like Service reference not matched.

info from "Service info" from satellite : Service reference: 1:0:19:1BD2:2:46:E080000:0:0:0 Name: VGTV HD

I'm not an expert, but I hope I gave enough information for you to fix this? :)

The above mentioned service ref is not linked. I have:

1:0:19:1C01:46:46:E080000:0:0:0:

1:0:19:1C4A:4A:46:E080000:0:0:0:

So, I have added:

1:0:19:1BD2:2:46:E080000:0:0:0:

A simple case of a missing link.

I cannot keep up with changing service references when they change, without the help of the users. Users have to provide me with the info when a channels changes position (service ref).

Reason for this: I do not have access to 0.8W in this case. And even if I had access, it would not help me, because I do not have a subscription to most providers, so channels will not open and I can never be sure I have the correct channel.

King-of-sat could be of help, but is a pain in the behind to construct the service refs from the in formation on king-of-sat.

So. In the future when your are missing a channel, pls. post it on the forum together with the service ref. This is of great help.
In most cases, it will be fixed the same day.

Willy

PS: In cases a channel is moved, tell me also which service ref can be deleted, if you know this
