Well, I managed to reproduce your error.  And I can it only resolve by letting replace some software manually.

Unzip the attached file to:

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGImport/

Delete also all pyo files in this folder.

Restart enigma2.  (to recompile all python files of the plug-in)

Then you can import again.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Willy

PS: this methods is also valid for all with the same problem, until it is fixed in the source

What exactly is the problem?

The view in the plugin in RC is without a working treeview, so you see all entries in one list (despite the + icons being present). RC builds generally failed again this afternoon, so you'll have to wait until tommorow afternoon for an update (if the build succeeds then).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I have made a report on the Github as an issue.

In short you can only import one source.  After that the plug-in says the channels file cannot be found.

Reverting the last fix (for non-existing channels files) sorted out the problem.   Which is ironic, the patch for non-existing channels files, creates missing channels files.

When I tested this fix out, I only tried one source, and that was fine.  Did not look further.

In the RC the version would still be OK, because the last fix is not include in there, and also the treeview is still missing there.  The version is even older.

(for reasons you are mentioning - build failure)

Had the same problem on my DM8000 - PLI 4 with the *.gz version (system and plugins updated this morning) and I also confirm the fix worked.

On a total of 150 various channels (french, belgian, UK, swiss, italian, ...), the only missing EPG infos are for "RSI La 1 HD" "RSI La 2 HD" but I can live without it.

By the way, with the new division, the number of events dropped for me from ~200.005 to ~100.000. Thanks Willy for all your work !

Select under the German/Austrian/Swiss source  the small Switserland - Basic and these will appear again.

This source was indeed checked (other swiss channels like RTS & SRF are ok).

Is Corrected and uploaded.  Remember there are 2 mirrors which update themselves which can take another hour.

If you try now, you have 60% chance of getting the update.

Hi,

It was for this problem:

https://forums.openp...-infinite-loop/

I must say that I test the patch and it was not a success on my side but I was waiting for Willy confirmation that it was not working for him too before reporting.

The bug that the plugin loops when no channel source is available is still present. I think I've found it, but waiting for Willy to confirm.

Hi,
Italian epg (sky, premium, etc...) not working.
When you restart the decoder, xmltvimport is loading some epg, but then if you made a manual download there are 0 events loaded.
