Hi

Could anyone let me know if its possible to run epgimport from a command line ?

Would like to set a cron job to run epgimport twice daily after importing iptv channel updates.

Appreciate any help.

Regards, Andy

You can't run it multiple times a day from the menu.

And doing so is frowned upon as well, as every run downloads a lot of data (100TB/month and counting as a rough estimate). Several download mirrors block IP's with excesssive calls, so you might be locked out all together.

Since you fetch EPG data for multiple days (usually at least 7), why not update your channel list first, and then run your daily EPG import?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
