Hi all,

I have a solo 4k with motorized satellite dish and openpli 6 image.

LNB is working perfect, but it is not possible to move the dish to different sat\location.

It seems that there is not enough voltage comes out from the solo 4k box to the motor, i can't change location manually or by the receiver.

I connected sat finder directly to the motor and i it is possible to change dish location manually or with sat finder commands - thr sat finder provide enough voltage.

the dish located +- 50 meters from the receiver.

Any advice?

the dish located +- 50 meters from the receiver.

Could that be too far?

I don't know, perhaps with a poor quality cable.

If so, you may need an amplifier.

I know Axing are OK.

If I were you, before buying an amplifier, I would also check if it works on shorter cable runs or try a different cable, if it is possible.

What motor are you using?
Remove power to the lnb and see if the motor will move.
Connect the sat finder to the long 50 meter cable that is for the Solo 4K and see if the dish will move using the sat finder.

I connected the sat finder to the long 50 meter cable instead of the Solo 4K and the dish moved

OK
Check your settings in the Solo 4K.
It may help to post the settings file located in "etc/enigma2" of the receiver. The settings file may contain password information to Facebook or other social media, so be sure to check for this before posting the settings file.
