Hello,

until now I had openpli 4. Today I have openpli 6 on my Mutant HD51.

For IPTV stations, which have a full HD resolution and a picture rate of more than 50Hz the picture.

Even if you manually adjust the refresh rate to 60 Hz, the image stuttered. With Full HD transmitters which have only 50 Hz, this problem does not arise.

Have openli 4 back played, since the problem does not exist.

With openatv from 5 to 6 is the same problem. I assume that it is a driver problem. Gstreamer perhaps.

Can a programmer look at it? It is probably a small programming error.

And when you install and configure auto resolution plugin?

What boxmode is the box running in?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

The boxing mode really does not matter. Whether I use 1080i, 1080p. Decisive is only the picture rate. As long as it is up to 50 Hz everything is okay. As soon as 60 Hz it starts to stutter.

What relation does the boxmode have with either 1080i or 1080p?

I do not understand what you mean exactly. It does not matter whether I in the box 1080i or 1080p adjust. Likewise, it does not matter if what I set at the TV.

If you have PiP on your box, it is running in boxmode 12, and it may have issues with high resolutions in 60Hz. If you don't have PiP, it is running in boxmode 1, and 60Hz UHD should not be a problem.

If it is in the correct boxmode, it may well be a gstreamer issue, but to know we need the know exactly what stream it is (IPTV is just a marketing term for a TV stream).

PIP is disabled.

A file like /boot/startup I don't have.

If the PiP is disabled, it is not the hardware limitation that is the problem. Then gstreamer is the most logical culprit.

No, I think you don't understand it properly. The box can run in 2 modes. Mode 1 and mode 12.
Can you activate PiP? Or is it not possible to start PiP?
That's one of the criterias to see which mode you are running. Only in one mode PiP is possible.

Yes, that was also in the beginning my guess that the Gstreamer is to blame. It's actually quite simple. My openpli 4 has 0.10.36 (GIT). One would have to compare what is different with the opener at the Gestreamer.

Who can fix this?

How about posting the output of command cat /proc/cmdline ?

It will display boxmode I guess.

If you are still running OpenPLi 4, it might not be a bad idea to make a backup, and try 6.0-RC, as it has a much newer gstreamer.

@WanWizard:

The new Gstreamer is the problem.

@betacentauri:

Yes I can enable PIP.

@athoik:
