Hi,

Is there any chance to have EPG for Albanian channels that broadcast in Eutelsat 16 ?

There are two packages:

DIGITALB           - official website   http://digitalb.al/

TRING DIGITAL - official website http://www.tring.tv/

The EPG for Tring can be found on the official website and for both packages can be found also at http://albepg.com/usage.php

Thank You

Elton

Although, Albania is in Europe it qualifies form inclusion in our EPG system.

But.... There is a big but, we never could reliably grab the schedules from any Albanian source.

Look here:  http://www.webgrabpl...-channels#stc_1

The tring site does not work anymore.

Ipko seems to be working today.

There is no grabber for digitalb.

The back-up site for many countries, yo.tv does not list Albania.

So, I have a practical problem here.

Willy

I took a look at:  http://albepg.com/usage.php

and it list a ready made EPG for use on enigma2 receivers.

The only thing is missing are the links between the EPG and the service refs. This you have to make yourself.

So first thing is to find out the service refs of the channels you are interested in. Look around here in the pinned subjects, there are several ways described to obtain these.

You have to make then a channels.xml file containing the links between the EPG and these service refs.

In the example here 1:0:19:9CA:4B:601:FFFF0000:0:0:0: is the service ref.

you find in the guide.xml file from http://albepg.com/

Call this file Albania.channels.xml

<channels>

1:0:19:9CA:4B:601:FFFF0000:0:0:0:

.
.
.
.
</channels>

Copy this file to /etc/epgimport in you receiver

Make also a sources file. (f.i. alb.sources.xml) and copy this file also in etc/epgimport

<sources>

Shqiperia XMLTV

</sources>

After you have done this. Select the Shqipëria XMLTV source in the XMLTVimport, and import. Succes.

Willy

PS: If you think this is a lot of work. Yes, it is. But I have done all this for the total system we provide.

I found on my PC a channels file file for some Albanian channels. It dates back from when I tried to make this work.

The service refs may not be good anymore, but you can always try.

Have the channels file adapted to the values presented in the guide.xml file.

Service refs I cannot check. I do not have access to 16E

Place both attached files in etc/epgimport and try to import. (provided you watch 16E)

only one question regarding
1:0:19:9CA:4B:601:FFFF0000:0:0:0:

between to names Jolly HD, which one stands for the service name and which one for the name from the EPG website?

This:

Is just a comment. In XML files everything between is considered comments.
