I get 0 imports today, even when manually launching the EPG imports. Server(s) down?

Yep, that solved my problem. I did not use telnet, just removed and then re-installed the software.

Tried those telnet codes with openvix but failed. Does anyone have a link to reinstall through telnet? ...Sorry the plugin downloader isn't working on box

If the plugin downloader is not working on box, you have another problem. Using telnet command is unlikely to work.

OpenViX has EPGImporter already installed and is always updated when you perform an image update.

Which receiver do you have? Which OpenViX image do you have?

On OE-A images the plugin is called

enigma2-plugin-extensions-epgimport

This started happening to me too yesterday.  I am on OpenVix-4

Ive tried uninstalling and re-installing the plugin, and manually deleting the rytec files then re-installing.  No change.

What I have found is that all rytecxmltv gzip files are coming down to my box as 0kb.  If I download them through a browser to a PC, also 0kb.

Still investigating...

I'm running openvix 5.013 on an edision is mini. It states the kernel is out of date that's why the downloader doesn't work.

I was thinking of using telnet to delete epgimport then reinstalling it via a web link.

Thanks guys

The solution is update the image.

Of course if the image provider has not updated EPGimport this will fail also.

Both the XMLTVimport and EPGimport have been updated on the GitHub.  If the image providers updated their image there should be no problem.

This situation has been communicated 2 month's ago to the image builders, including the date of the cut-off.

Use image manager to download 5.0 028, then flash it (also with image manager). After it restarts, restore your settings and plugins when prompted.

Will take you less than 5 mins.

Thank you so much.

Backing up settings, upgrading image, and restoring settings fixed it for me.  I was on a really old image

These are the files the new version depends.  On OpenPLi they are automatically installed when updating the importer.
