If you followed the discussions here on the forum, I cannot get hold of a working example of crossepg to test this out.

I have asked for this for several months.

However, yesterday I got hold of a version of Crossepg.  I did not work on my OpenPLi machines.

But it allowed me to produce a set of config files for the Rytec sources.  Needless to say I cannot test these.

Unzip the attached files an copy the files to:  \usr\crossepg\providers\

Willy

PS:  Do not use this on Crossepg installed on OpenPLi.  It will not work

The Update of the Rytec sources in Crossepg is working again.

Willy

I have fixed the OE-A version of crossepg, so that xz is now working.

So is it possible to remove the .gz files from the sources now as they are no longer needed, and 146 xml files is alot of chose from.

I know it is. But you make this selection only once (or a limited amount of times)

I promised to keep the gz files alive until 31/12/2017.  So I keep the gz sources a little while longer.

Planned to release the sources with only xz for EPGimport on 15-11-2017.  I could do the same for the crossepg ones at the same time.

This will give crossepg users the time to update.

Willy

PS: can you provide me with an ipk of this version (working on OpenPLi) not for distribution but solely for testing things out when I change something on the sources or XMLTV files.  (send it by PM if you want)

Ok 15/11/17 is better than waiting for 01/01/18 :)

Installed xz_5.2.2-r0_mips32el.ipk

The OE-A version of crossepg imports xz files on OpenPLi 6.0RC

However there is still an error:  See in the log, every file is imported 4 or 5 times.

It imports from all the mirrors, which is a waste of time and download volume.

It is failing to parse. Because of this, it downloads from next mirror.

Same fault as on OpenViX.

Are OpenBlackHole using different sources or have other EPG commits?

I do not know where OpenVIX downloads from, but there are no other sources.

Failing to parse!!!!

But when crossepg finishes, the EPG has been imported.  And exactly the same number of events as in the XMLTV are.

Strange, strange.  Why it says failing to parse.

I suspect this error is false.

In BH, I re-wrote the sources so that it doesn't download from each url, it just has 1 for each item (basic, movies etc).

In OBH, it has the same sources that you are using.
