Hi there, 
I did inquire from avilink technical support about higher symbol rate issue on vu + duo2 dual tuner. They told me to add following patch. But I have no experience on how to do it. Could you please look into it. The message which they sent me is as follows. 
From your message, the AVL6222 can lock signal,, but get any services for SR =45msps？

 

   For crystal and TS config, please following：

                       AVL_DVBSx_SA_0,

                            Ref_clock_Enhance_10M,

                            AVL_DVBSx_MPM_Serial,

                            AVL_DVBSx_MPCP_Rising,

                            AVL_DVBSx_MPF_TS,         //not use AVL_DVBSx_MPF_TSP

                            AVL_DVBSx_MPSP_DATA7,

        

   And try update attached AVL6222 SDk and FW ,re-test, thanks;

We don't have the sources of the tuner drivers, so we can't apply it. Ask VU+ to do it.

If you could, please contact vu + development team and ask them wheather this could be fixed or not. Because all efforts to contact by me is in vain.

It's a shame as Vu tend to go into activity mode when about to release a receiver. Maybe someone will believe/trust you and mention it to Vu+.

I can imagine they have to consider the amount of users that are affected by a certain issue against the amount of time it needs to fix, just like we do. Undoubtedly they will have other work to do as well.

But if they really care about customers they should address the issue even if only small number of people is affected
