Hello.

I have a Vu+solo4k with Openpli 6.0. Everyhing was running very good until I change my ISP.

They gave me a new router and since then I am not able to download firmware updates as well as new plugins from the openpli menù anymore

I suppose the needed ports are closed and I have to port forward correctly the Vu+ from the router menù.

Could you tell me which porta are used for the firmware and plugin download?

Other ports like 80 and 443 for http and https are already working fine.

Thank you in advance.

The box uses http to download, so if you can browse, you can update. Are you sure you have OpenPLi 6.0-release, and not 6.0-rc ? The rc was a test image, it doesn't exist anymore.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Yes you are right. I am still using rc version. see attached screenshot.

You mean I cannot download anymore because of that and I need to flash the new version?

thanks a lot

Yes. The rc is a test version, a pre-release if you will, which shouldn't be installed unless you actually want to test. Every new release will be preceded with an rc for public testing.

OK Thanks.

I'll try to install the 6.0 stable then.

Do you think I can backup my current settings and restore them on the new release?

OK. Tried. Previous settings not working on stable release.

By the way, installed the 6.0 stable and everything is now working fine again.

Thank you !!!
