I have some channels with no EPG at the moment - can you have a look :

* channel 4 HD (UK) : 1:0:1:52D0:814:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

* channel 5 HD (UK) : 1:0:1:1E46:809:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

* film1 family (NL) : 1:0:16:51AE:C96:3:EB0000:0:0:0:

* HBO2 (CSK) : 1:0:16:308:C94:3:EB0000:0:0:0:

* History HD DUT (NL) : 1:0:19:13C7:C95:3:EB0000:0:0:0:

* Quest (UK) : 1:0:1:1845:7F3:2:11A305E:0:0:0:

* Quest RED (UK) : 1:0:1:1846:7F3:2:11A305E:0:0:0:

* Insight HD (UK) : 1:0:19:5726:82B:2:11A2CE6:0:0:0:

* TNT HD (Polen) : 1:0:1:2905:1EDC:71:820000:0:0:0:

 

for HBO2 and TNT I've selected all of the Polish & Czech packages, except for the basic package.

for UK & NL, all of the available packages are selected for download.

And the german files contain data for this channel.  (I do not import this)

 

 

After checking some of the other service refs and the above for Fox Series, I suspect that you have the option enabled in the epgimport plug-in to load only data for channels in the bouquets.

Also it looks like you are using the channels obtained from the fastscan of Canaal Digitaal.  Be warned all these channels have an error in the service ref.  Sometimes these have crept in our channels file.

 

It is recommended not to use the option:  Import only EPG for channels in bouquets.  Set this option to NO pls.

aha - indeed, I did set the option "load only data for channels in the bouquets" to yes, I thought this might save some internal memory - I'll swicth the option back to "no" and see what difference this makes.

I don't use the fastscan op^tion, BUT my channel references are coming from Henksat and if he uses this fastscan option then that may explain some of those errors.

I'll rescan those transponders and I'll use the newly scanned references.

You indeed save some memory when using this option, but you run into problems as you observed.

Also I add channels to the channels file with the reference given to me.  And it is not excluded that I add channels which come from a fastscan (with errors - a 1 instead of a 19 or 16)

I try to correct this if a I am aware of the situation.  But it remains a big pain in the behind.

setting the switch "load only data for channels in the bouquets" back to 'no' did indeed solve the problem - EPG is back on those channels, except one :

what package does this belong to ? It has audio in english, polish & turk and subtitles in english, hungarian, rumanian & ancient greek (?)

I have a Sundance channel for the Polish, Greek, Spanish, French packages.

this seems to fit the Polish/Hungarian channel schedule.

can you add this reference to the polish or hungarian film section ?

UPC Direct is more Hungarian so it probably fits better in the Hungarian package but of course can be put in both.

I have searched this weekend for FTA channels that have no EPG and could be interesting for the Western European viewers (either they transmit for W-E or have interesting content). Possibly for some of them there are no sources, but maybe you can have a look at the list to see if some can be added (there are also a few channels that had EPG but changed serviceref because of a move)
