I see that new drivers are appearing for various VU boxes to allow reception of powervu without streaming.
Do such drivers exist for vu ultimo 4k and if yes have they or will they be implemented in OpenPLi 6 release version?

Where can the drivers be found?
From any other image already updated with those drivers as VTI, BH and probably OpenATV.
The path is: /lib/modules/3.14.28-1.12/extra/
Just copy and replace them in the same folder of OpenPli.

No, but we've got the todo list, and we've very busy removing items of it. I think there are only two or three items left, so a wild guess would be "in the near future"...
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

What is powervu ?
And these new drivers could correct my crash problems when I press "stop" in 4x ?

I look forward to 6.1 then.
By the way, will it be necessary to flash 6.1 or will an online update from 6 to 6.1 be possible?

What I've heard is that it is possible to update from 6.0-release to 6.1-release. No reflash required, I hope.

I have just had a quick fiddle and copied over the drivers.
I disabled stream relay in webif.
I only get black screen though.
If I try to stream without adjusting anything, it clears so I assume I need to look in my config files and change something.
Bed time now as I have to be up early so I will have a look tomorrow and hopefully find what needs changing.
