;)

Usually copy/paste works best in these cases.

As to Windows sharing, if you haven't made any custom shares on your box, I have a similar fix for you:

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/OpenPLi/openpli-oe-core/rc/meta-openpli/recipes-connectivity/samba/samba/smb.conf -O /etc/samba/smb.conf

note, again, O and not zero! :)

After this fix you need to restart the box.

I will try it when I have time. Work calls, sadly.

Hi , the picture works flawlessly on my solo 4K, only a tnt dvbs2 tnt problem

To be sure I reinstalled an old backup version 6.0 and I have a signal between 80 and 90/100, with version 6.1 I am 27/100! with complete freeze

Is it possible to go back with the driver dvb-t because I lose 50/100 of the signal with the current version 6.1 compared to version 6.0 that I backup last month

Nothing much changed between 6.0 and 6.1. Is that a USB stick or a built-in tuner?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Just to be sure, this is about DVB-S2 or DVB-T? You mention both in your first post, which confuses me a bit.

I don't think we have VU+ DVB-T tuners in the team we can test.

This is about DVB-T , the difference is very important

Now the image is no longer usable for me

I thought that my dvb-t antenna was hs, but trying with an old backup I got a signal of more than 80/100 so my installation is impeccable

Then we need confirmation from others that it is indeed a driver issue, so we can provide feedback to VU+.

Ok, the problem is solved
In fact the bug comes from the automatic scan which takes the chains but apparently not well
I have now done a manual scan of channels 22,43,46 and 56 and everything is ok now ( dvbt and dvbt2 )
I hope my information can help find the bug

I have the same issue with the box not appearing in Windows Explorer. Samba is running, I have the correct conf and the Net View command does show the 3 shares. I have tried on 2 different PC's, one with Win 10 Home and the other with Win 10 Pro. If I put OpenViX on the box, it shows straight away.

I'm using the 6.1 release from the 8th Jan, currently on a ZGemma LC but have also tried on a Vu+ Duo2, albeit with a 6.1RC on that.

I'm wondering if I could use the Samba from ViX on the PLi image - would that work?

With samba, you should be careful, chances are when you restore the backup, you also restore an incorrect version of the config.

This is the default one: https://raw.githubus.../samba/smb.conf

I have tried with the default conf from the git, also tried uninstalling both samba and samba-base then re-installing but still the same - samba is running, net view from the Windows cmd finds the devices but can't see them in Windows explorer.

Are both in the same workgroup?

For Windows 10 that is. Using Windows 7 & 8.1 I never had any issue.
