Kodi on 6.1 rc

Have installed openpli-6.1-rc-vuduo2-20171127_usb.zip from Flash funktion. Works Ok!

​Tried to install Kodi from Plugin. Doesn't work.

​Run opkg update and upgrade from terminal and then ran opkg install kodi. Doesn't work!

I have Vu+Duo2!

​Isn´t Kodi available for Vu+Duo2? Or is there something I have forgotten?

Hi, Duo2 supports kodi but at least your packet name is wrong. Take a look if kodi is on the feed with opkg list | grep kodi ciao

Kodi still requires some kernel changes and drivers with proxy.

Feel free to create PR that fixes it.

Duo2 supports kodi but at least your packet name is wrong.
Take a look if kodi is on the feed with

opkg list | grep kodi

ciao

Of course Kodi is on the feed! Kodi is selectable to install in plug-in section, but the installation stops after a coupe of seconds!

Vu+ mips models are missing the proxy drivers and kernel config for Kodi (different memory allocation for drivers).

Kodi builds fine, only above is missing in order to work.

Somebody should send patches to Vu+

Somebody with duo2 or solo2 confirmed with PM that it works after using proxy drivers and proxy kernel defconfig.

He never submitted a patch.

Kodi, HbbTV, Youtube none of this plugin works right now on Solo 2. But it is rock stable, hope will be fixed soon

sry,dont understand,what i have disabled in builds? Kinda new to this yet,built couple images so far

You think you can have kodi if you build the image yourself.

 

That would only make sense if we would disable the support for our images, on purpose.

 

But we didn't. Why would we?
