OpenMultiboot is a plugin that is not installed on the USB key but is installed in the internal flash memory of the satellite box (in the primary image). OpenMultiboot creates something like a boot menu, using the image on which OpenMultiboot was used (on the primary image). The OpenMultiboot plugin serves to manage / change multiple images on a USB memory stick.
You must use a fast USB memory stick with the file format Ext3 / Ext4 (Linux format).
Installing multiple images on one USB memory key is very easy. Just copy the downloaded image from the Internet to the specified "open-multiboot-upload" folder on the USB stick. The FTP connection should be a directory: "/media/hdd/open-multiboot-upload/". Copy the file in the same state as it was downloaded from the Internet - that is, in the ZIP archive (without unpacking the archive). OpenMultiboot works directly with ZIP archives and unpacks it when installing. Then you go into the OpenMultiboot MENU and install the newly added image (.zip) on the USB stick. This will be installed in another subdirectory on the USB stick.
From now on, when booting the box, you just select a specific image to launch. Image selection takes only a few seconds. If you do not select an image, the last used image will be booted.
Good Luck

We haven't made it, so don't ask us.
It has been dropped because it could not be build normally, without a completely customized BSP, because the flash is too small. So chances are that although that is called "OpenPLi" to give the suggestion it is the same, it actually isn't, other than it is derived from our source at some point...
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
