Did you use AUTO on FEC?
There is no AUTO option.

You will need the AUTO option otherwise it won't work. If your receiver doesn't support AUTO FEC, you're out of luck.

The Si2166D offers an on-chip blind scan algorithm for DVB-S/S2/S2X standards, as well as a blind lock function.

He's talking of a Zgemma model. Maybe the driver doesn't offer auto FEC.

The Auto works fine with vuzero4k.

I am 100% sure it works fine also using other receivers with S2X tuners (since today all used the SI2166 tuner).
The Si2166D offers an on-chip blind scan algorithm for DVB-S/S2/S2X standards, as well as a blind lock function.
Blind Lock if I am not mistaken means, give the frequency (and SR) and I will lock for you, without having to specify all the little details like FEC, Pilot, etc.
Same for Si2169D: "The Si2169-D offers an on-chip blind scanning algorithm for DVB-S2X/S2/S and DVB-C standards, as well as a blind lock subset mode." Source: Si2169-D DVB-T2/S2X/S2/T/C/S Digital Demodulator

So looks like Zero 4K drivers don't support multistream at all...

I think we always offer AUTO on UI.
Although we need to change the UI to automatically select AUTO when CAN_FEC_AUTO property exists (Also the same for CAN_INVERSION_AUTO, etc.)
Yes, agree.

Correct. We already reported it.
Good, so with any luck it should be fixed within the next 5 years.
And BTW, does that box have a blindscan binary available? Or is that also missing? Hardware is capable.

Did the other manufacturers support blindscan? Maybe Dreambox only.
So what others did all that time?
At least VU+ is experimenting on new technologies, and code is public.
I keep annoying Octagon about this. Earlier this year they told me that as soon as Kodi is finished they will start blindscan. Now they say they are focusing on other bugs first. I think by the time they get round to doing it the receiver will be in landfill.
So far no multistream tuner has it. And anyway as far as I understand it is not going to work on transponders with PLS.

BTW, all tuners are using PLS, they just use the default sequence gold 0. Some tuners have options to select other gold sequences (or root).
PS. I just learned above from a trusted source.
That is no secret, it's part of the DVB-S2 specification.
