Hello!
On my Vu + uno channels are not opened via CAM + card in Irdeto encoding. The same channels are opened normally via the internal DVB-C / T module. Tried already many firmware from other manufacturers. So far, nothing.
Very strange. Everywhere it is written that there is support for the entire line of Vu + receivers, but in fact it does not work with coded channels.

A channel not working is usually not an issue with the tuner, but with the CAM. One of the many reasons we don't advocate the use of USB tuners.

Chances are that if you ditch the cam, and use a softcam instead, it will work.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Softcam? How to use it? I use the official DVB-C provider from which I purchased the CAM Irdeto with the card.
You mean you set up, for example, Wicard to work with the Irdeto card?

I mean use Oscam, and insert the Irdeto card in a cardreader instead of using the CAM module.

If you google for Oscam and your provider name, you will most likely find a howto somewhere. Oscam can be installed from the plugins on the box.

If this CAM is by any chance a CI+ version then you are right. OpenPli does not support CI+. So either use a softcam and place the card directly in the cardslot or use VU+ VTI firmware which (in some versions) supports CI+
