USB DBV-T supplied by sky it with af9035 driver doesn't work in openpli 6.0 but works in 4.0 so I can't change IMG. For this reason I have asked for a DVB-T that surely work in openpli 6.0

It has nothing to do with the OpenPLi version. It has to do with the Linux kernel version that the manufacturer of your receiver makes drivers for.

Sorry , I understand that my English isn't clear but I'am trying to know If you know a USB DVB-T model, brand, used in your set top box with PLI 6.0, that surely works, not advices how to about USB DBV-T supplied by sky it with af9035 driver. I want to change USB DVB-T but I would buy a model working in PLI 6.0

I hope I have been clearer.

You can precheck yourself. Check the kernel version of your box. Then check if this kernel version is supported by the USB DVB-T stick of your choice. In most cases they are not because STB's run on far older kernels than modern PC's. Most don't even support Linux at all! The best Linux support is supplied by Sundtech sticks.

Sundtek, must be a typo. ;)

Note that we (as OpenPLi) don't advocate the use of USB devices. Not only because of the flaky driver support, but also because they work in userspace, and have to pull in the entire datastream (easily 45Mbps on some transponders) before demuxing it in software. Which not only puts a heavy strain on the CPU of the box causing impact on other processes running, but also because it creates instability.

If you need proper DVB-T receiption, get a box with a DVB-T tuner, of with combi tuners. They are cheap as chips these days...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Yes really, we're serious about this. USB tuners is asking for trouble.
